Trek pricing tends to confuse people, because every agency includes something different. Here's how it works with us, out in the open.
What's included
On every tour:
- 4x4 transport from the guesthouse to the trailhead and from the end of the hike back.
- All meals during the trek, including trail snacks.
- Overnight stay, either in a hammock at a local family's home or at a camp set up by the team.
- An experienced trekking guide accredited by ICMBio.
- Personal accident insurance.
Camping tours also include a tent, sleeping pad, chairs, table, kitchen, and a support guide to carry the heavy gear.
Why the price changes with the group
The cost of a trek is almost entirely fixed: the 4x4 costs the same for two or six people, the guide is the same, the camping setup is the same. That's why the more people, the lower the price per person.
From four participants on, everyone pays the lowest rate for the tour. And if you book as a pair in the group format, more people may join before the date and your price may drop along with it.

For a quick reference, per person, in a group of four or more:
- 1 Day in the Lençóis: from R$ 760
- One Night at the Oasis: from R$ 2.175
- Bonita Trail, 2 days: from R$ 2.050
- Classic Trek, 3 days: from R$ 2.580
- Traditional Trek, 5 days: from R$ 3.700

What's not included
Drinks, personal items, tips, and anything you use before or after the trek. And, most importantly, what people planning a trip usually leave out of the budget:
- Airfare to São Luís.
- Transfer from São Luís to Barreirinhas or Santo Amaro.
- Guesthouse for the nights before and after the trek.
- Extra tours, like Lagoa Azul, Lagoa Bonita, or the Rio Preguiças descent.
A tip from someone who lives this
Don't pick the lowest price you find online. Ask how many people are in the group, who the guide is, where you'll stay overnight, and what's included. Inside the park there's no store, no pharmacy, and no signal: what the operation brought is what exists.
