Every trek in the Lençóis spends the night inside the park. What changes is where you sleep, and that choice changes the trip a lot.
Sleeping in the oases
The oases are communities living inside the park, like Baixa Grande and Queimada dos Britos. They're families who've been there for generations, raising animals, farming and hosting the groups that cross through.
You sleep in a hammock area, a covered space with hammocks, at one of these families' homes. There's a well-water bath, home-cooked meals made fresh and conversation at the end of the afternoon. It's simple, it's rustic and, for many people, it's the best part of the trek: you realize this place isn't just scenery, it's someone's home.

Sleeping in a camp
With camping, the setup comes with us: two-person tents, sleeping pads, chairs, table and trail kitchen. A support guide carries the larger gear, so you carry your own backpack and sleeping pad.
The difference here is the setting: the tent is pitched among the dunes, far from everything. You have dinner watching the sunset, sleep hearing only the wind and wake up to sunrise at your tent door. A starry sky with no lights nearby is something that stays with you.

Which is more comfortable?
The oasis has a fixed structure: walls, roof, a simple bathroom, home-cooked food. Camping offers privacy and silence, but you're in a tent, on the sand, with no bathroom nearby.
People who've never camped usually do better starting with the oasis. Those who love camping wouldn't trade it for anything.
